A Brief History of the Firm
In June of 1985, Daniel E. Klecka and Harry F. Wilkins, III founded Klecka and Wilkins, CPAs, which was the firm's original name. However, one year later, Michael J. Klecka was invited to join the firm, thus forming Klecka, Wilkins & Klecka, Certified Public Accountants. Since then, the firm has been continually growing through referrals by existing clients, as well as the acquisition of various small practices. Additionally, staff has been added to accommodate the growth in the client base.

A Closer Look at the Partners
Daniel E. Klecka attended Arizona State University after serving three years in the United States Marine Corps.He graduated from ASU in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He joined the firm DeMarcus and Associates, became a principal and left in 1985 to form Klecka & Wilkins, CPAs. Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of CPAs. He is licensed to practice accounting in Arizona and California. Dan has given presentations and addressed Valley groups on tax matters.

Harry F. Wilkins, III attended both the University of Arizona, and Arizona State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1972. He joined DeMarcus and Associates in 1974 and became a stockholder three years later. In 1985, he also left to form Klecka and Wilkins, CPAs. Harry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arizona Society of CPAs and was formerly on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Humane Society.

Michael J. Klecka received his degree of Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University in 1974, and became a CPA in 1976. He worked for a local firm prior to joining Henry & Horne, CPAs in July of 1976, where he was made partner in January of 1981. Five years later, he left to form Klecka, Wilkins & Klecka, Certified Public Accountants. Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of CPAs. He has also been active on various committees with local construction organizations, and civic programs.
