Keep It Simple Accounting Entry Systems

Software built by a working CPA to make accounting faster, simpler and more accurate — for small businesses, churches, households and the firms that serve them.

Why I started building software

After 25 years preparing returns, keeping books and running audits, I kept seeing the same thing: good people fighting software that was either too complicated, too expensive, or both. Owner-financed lenders tracking notes in spreadsheets. Church treasurers reconciling giving by hand. Small firms paying enterprise prices for tools they barely use.

KISAES LLC is my answer. Each product starts with a problem I’ve watched clients or firms struggle with, and each one is built to do that job well without the bloat.

Keep it simple

Do one job well. Leave out the features nobody asked for.

Keep it accurate

Built by a CPA, to a CPA’s standard. Batches balance, records don’t quietly change, and the numbers hold up.

Price it fairly

No per-seat pricing. No hostage data — everything exports as plain CSV on every plan.

The products

Five apps, one standard. Each solves a specific problem and stays out of the way otherwise.

For CPA firms

VibeMyFirm

Self-hosted appliances for tax and accounting firms

A suite of Docker-based apps that run on your own server: trial balance, time & billing, 1099 e-filing, document management, backups and more. Your client data never leaves your office, there’s no per-user fee, and each app can be installed on its own or as part of the full suite.

  • Runs on your hardware — no cloud vendor holding your data
  • One install, no per-seat licensing
  • Built around real CPA workflows, not generic practice management

Bookkeeping

ClientLedger

Cash-basis bookkeeping for freelancers and very small businesses

Track what came in and what went out, categorize it, and hand your accountant clean records at year end. No accounts receivable, no inventory, no modules you’ll never open — just the books, done right.

  • Simple, transaction-based records
  • Clean year-end reports for your tax preparer
  • Export everything as CSV at any time

Loan servicing

OwnerTrack.Loan

Owner-financed loan servicing with a borrower portal

If you’ve sold property on a note, OwnerTrack.Loan tracks payments, interest, escrow and balances the way a mortgage company would — and gives your borrower a secure portal to see their own history, so the year-end phone calls stop.

  • Amortization, payment tracking and statements
  • Borrower portal for transparency
  • Year-end interest reporting made easy

Churches & charities

DonorLedger

Contribution tracking that can prove what each donor gave

Volunteers enter the week’s gifts, the batch has to balance to the bank deposit before it posts, and posted records can’t be quietly edited. At year end, donor statements come out with deductible and non-deductible giving separated and the IRS acknowledgement wording already in place.

  • Batches balance to the deposit before posting
  • Year-end statements ready for the IRS
  • One annual price, unlimited users

Households

BoxAtlas

Home inventory with QR labels and photo analysis

Print a sheet of QR labels, stick one on each storage tote or room, and photograph what’s inside. BoxAtlas turns the photo into a searchable item list with estimated values — useful for finding the camping gear in October, and for documenting a claim after a loss.

  • QR-labelled totes and rooms
  • Searchable item list from a photo
  • Full export of records and photos on every plan

How every KISAES product is built

Your data stays yours

Every record exports as plain CSV on every plan. The firm tools run on your own server so client data never leaves your office.

Fair, simple pricing

No per-seat fees. One price covers the whole household, church or firm. Several products offer a free tier for personal use.

Built by a practicing CPA

I use these tools in my own practice. When tax law or a form changes, the software changes with it — because I have to file too.

Have a problem that needs a simpler tool?

Questions about a product, licensing for your firm, or an idea for the next one — I’d like to hear it.
